Paynter, Jack R., May 22, 2008, age 81, of Brooklyn Park. Jack was an avid genealogist and temple worker for his church and served as a volunteer fireman for Brooklyn Park. He is survived by beloved wife, Delores; children, Mark (Brenda) Paynter, Jeannine (Larry) Scarber and John Paynter; 17 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Richard) Vacha, Mary (William) Pratt and Jayne Moomaw; brother, Bill (Shelly) Paynter; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Paul Paynter. Funeral service Wednesday, May 28, 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Minneapolis Stake Center, 2801 N. Douglas Dr., Crystal. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tue. 6-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th Ave. N. and W. Broadway and one hour prior to the service at the Stake Center.
